Monaco-Armenia Children’s Fund at the 11th Anniversary of SSF Provence-Arménie in Marseille, September 4 & 5

Created in 1999, the Association Sport Solidarité France Provence-Arménie led by its enthusiastic president, Mr. Agopic Khalchadourian, dedicates its actions, both cultural and sports, to the development of strong humanitarian Franco-Armenian links and support to Armenia’s sports centers in terms of construction and rehabilitation.

The Gala evening celebrating the Association’s 11th anniversary was dedicated to the SSFPA’s current project, the construction and rehabilitation of the SSFProvence-Arménie Sports Center in Yerevan. MACF was happy to contribute by donating 1000 € on this occasion.

The Armenian national Taekwondo team gave a splendid demonstration of martial arts, followed by concert and dance, performed by Zara, a young and talented jazz singer, Elen, the best Armenian flamenco dancer, Avedik Khalatyan and the well known Nune Yesayan.

With a Taekwondo France-Armenia competition set the following day, the President of the Armenian Taekwondo Federation, Mr. Vrezh Khachikyan, was also present at the gala evening, together with representatives of local city halls and Armenian artists. MACF were present at the Taekwondo competition where the pugnacious young Armenian Taekwondoists took control of every match in an exhibition of strength, mastery and talent.

MACF meets Charles Aznavour

The singer, of Armenian origin as everybody knows, gave a concert at the Sporting d'été, here in Monaco, on July 24.

MACF had the chance not only to experience a great evening, but also to talk to Charles Aznavour about its medical and cultural projects for the Armenian children, and humanitarian work in general.

Mr Aznavour has already brought his contribution to the Arabkir Foundation, our partner for all medical projects.
