ART MONACO 2011
“Art Monaco 2011” the only Contemporary and Modern Art Show in the southern France was held at the Grimaldi Forum from March 31st to April 3rd 2011.
We are delighted to inform you that the Armenian presence was very important during the fair. We were very happy to welcome two Armenian galleries, Noah's Ark gallery from Beirut and Bel Air Fine Art from Geneva, where Mr. François CHABANIAN (nephew of the famous artist Arsène CHABANIAN) had a great success. We were also proud to present a new emerging artist, Emile Aharonyan who was very appreciated too.
Furthermore, we also gave to "Art Monaco'11 ", a humanitarian dimension by organizing through our association, "Monaco Armenia Children's Fund" and “Gift for Life" from Miami, Florida, a workshop named "Paint for Life" where children could paint and express themselves through art. On this occasion, hundreds of children from various schools of Monaco realized paintings who then were sold during an auction.
A pamphlet of all the paintings with the artists will also be published in the near future.
Armenia was also honored with the participation of Meri Khojanyan a young and talented artist who played violin during our gala evening organized in the hotel Hermitage on Saturday, 02nd April 2011.
