Reconstruction of ARABKIR Pediatric Hospital – Block D, Yerevan

Monaco-Armenia Children's Fund, through Sharona and Robert Schalaudek, has financially contributed to the reconstruction of ARABKIR Pediatric Hospital – Block D.

The “Arabkir" Joint Medical Center and Institute of Child and Adolescent Health, created after the unification of "Arabkir" Medical Center, the Republican Pediatric Hospital and "ArBeS" Healthcare Center, provides services in the areas of children and adolescent health protection, general and specialized pediatrics, surgery, diagnostics and rehabilitation.

The activities of the unified medical centre « Arabkir » concern:

-       Granting of new technologies and possibilities of care

-       Supply of modern equipment, medical devices and drugs

-       Training of specialists in Europe

-       Free medical care for children from underprivileged families   

-       Psychosocial projects.

Today, the unified medical center hospitalizes 6000 patients per annum and allows children living with a physical and/or intellectual deficiency to open out.
